on death threats against Tarek Fatah & Farzana Hassan

The Canadian Muslim Union opposes violence as a solution to any problem. While many object to Fatah's opinions, his methods of expressing them, his self-proclaimed role as spokesperson for some supposed "moderate Muslims", and his continued portrayal of Muslims as violent, any acts of violence against Fatah or Hassan merely demonstrate their point.

All true Muslims will follow the Prophet's (pbuh) example and ignore these people, demonstrating that Islam is truly a religion of peace and tolerance.
